  • Oh Captain Bill's-how I love THEE, let me count the ways! I was referred here by a vegan coworker who admitted after years of being vegan she still craves items from this restaurant. That's saying a lot for a serious vegan. Her number one recommendation were the Hushpuppies and they didn't disappoint. They're the perfect blend of sweet and savory, scorching hot with a great onion flavor. I've been at least 4 times now and each time I'm amazed at the consistency and deliciousness. Not to often now you find restaurants that continually live up to the same great service and quality of food. The specials are amazing, all the sides I've had so far (turnips, fries, okra, onion rings) are well seasoned and hot. You'll love Uncle Bill as I've affectionately named him-he's never too far away with a smile, chocolate, and drink to pass along. You'll love it for sure!
